About the experience
Beyond being the largest piece of ceramic in the world, Casa Terracota in Villa de Leyva is a genuinely unusual building — architecture, design and a range of other crafts fused into one structure.
From the outset, Colombian architect Octavio Mendoza Morales built it to argue for an alternative, more harmonious way of living — for the individual, for the community, and for the environment around it.
